However as a precaution, if we monitor your alarm we would like you to call us once the NBN has been installed to ensure that there has been no interference or disconnection of with your alarm monitoring service during the NBN installation.
You must tell NBNCo prior to installation, that you have a monitored alarm so that they can install a Uni-V voice port. However to be safe we would always recommend that you call our team so that we can conduct a thorough check, to ensure your alarm monitoring service has not been disrupted.

We ensure that every alarm system installed by security experts comes with a backup battery already installed. This means that during any power outages the alarm system will automatically switch to the backup battery. The battery will keep your alarm system powered for up to 48 hours, depending on how much you use the system during this time. After the main power comes back on, the alarm system will begin recharging the backup battery until it is at full power again. During this time the alarm system will report that the battery is low until fully charged.
There are a few ways to find this information:
We would always recommend that you get a qualified technician to change the battery for you. You can request a service call here on : PH 0418 524 438
Lastly you can open the panel of your alarm system to view the battery. We would always recommend having a qualified security technician in to replace your battery. As the system will need to be reset and it may void the warranty on your security system if professional services were not utilised.

Alarm systems come with the option of Pet immune detectors. This way small animals will not be detected. But it’s always a good idea that when you get an alarm system to let your pet run around in front of the detectors to make sure they aren’t detected. Even when your alarm system isn’t armed, the detector will still have a small red light showing when it sees motion.
CCTV is an abbreviation for closed circuit television. This term is used for security cameras.
The benefits of have a CCTV working alone or in conjunction with an alarm system is that you have the ability to remotely log in and see what's happening instantly after you are notified of any alarm. A CCTV system is very easy to use and remove footage when an incident happens. This makes it quick to get the footage to authorities.
